There are currently 40 Senior Centers approved to operate under a special US Federal HMO program called Program of All-inclusive Care for the Elderly and known as PACE. These are the cities where they are located:

These patient populations consist of frail seniors who qualify for nursing home care but get to stay at home under this type of close supervision and full serve care. In light of this patient description there are probably only a small percentage of DCs who would be interested and qualified to be selected. Since these programs consist of a few hundred patients only 2-4 half days of DC care is needed per week... a part-time position ideal for a semi-retired DC.
